We have the answers
What types of content is your CDN for static content designed for?
Our CDN for static content is optimized for small files such as images, JavaScript, CSS, fonts, icons, and other web assets up to 50 MB. It is designed to accelerate page loads and reduce latency for websites and web applications.
How is this different from your Video CDN?
This CDN is built for static and lightweight assets, using Anycast routing and aggressive caching. Larger files and video streaming are handled by our Video CDN, which uses a different architecture optimized for media delivery and access control.
How does Anycast CDN routing improve performance?
With Anycast CDN, user requests are automatically routed to the closest healthy edge location. This minimizes latency and ensures high availability, as traffic is instantly rerouted if a PoP becomes unavailable.
What happens if an edge node or location fails?
Automatic failover is built in. Traffic is rerouted at the network level to the next optimal PoP without requiring DNS changes or manual intervention, ensuring continuous delivery of static assets.
How does caching reduce load on my origin servers?
Our CDN offloads origin traffic through:
- Edge caching
- Cache warm-up (prefetch)
- Origin Shield (additional cache layer)
This significantly reduces origin requests and stabilizes performance during traffic spikes.
Can I control cache behavior and TTL settings?
Yes. You can fully customize cache TTLs, including separate rules for specific HTTP status codes (such as 401, 403, 404, or 429). This allows precise control over freshness, error handling, and performance.
How is static content protected from hotlinking and abuse?
The CDN includes anti-hotlink protection, referer validation, IP and country-based rules, CORS controls, and HTTPS enforcement. These features prevent unauthorized use of your assets while ensuring fast delivery for legitimate users.
How does pricing work for the static content CDN?
Pricing is flat and global, with one price per TB worldwide, no regional markups, minimums, or tier traps. You pay only for the traffic you actually use, making costs predictable as your site grows.
Who should use this CDN for static content?
This solution is ideal for:
- Websites and web applications
- Image-heavy frontends
- CMS platforms
- SaaS products
- E-commerce sites
If your priority is fast page loads, stable delivery, and simple pricing for static assets, this CDN is the right fit.
